I had decided early on that this car would have some Mk1 Escort Works bubble arches fitted, the main reason (or excuse) was so I can build some more track into the chassis and therefore make the car handle a little better they also look dead hard!
The Escort front suspension could be widened allowing the strut tops to remain in the Anglia's wider position. I wanted the arches to look like they were meant to be there rather than retro add on's, this was the remit I gave the Burnham Autos who were going to be responsible for making the arches look correct.

The original arches were perfect not a sign of rust but hey by the time I had decided to keep them Paul had chopped them off. |
I do however had 4 very good and original arches should someone need some. |

The car would be quite high to get the front geometry correct. |
So the arches were put on a little lower to get the low look. |

Small cold tacks were used so the panel didnt distort. |
The arch then trimmed to match the body lines. |
