I decided the best way to make POO handle is to fit the well proven setup of the Racing Escorts, so I sourced some front suspension from a circuit racer.

Below is a gallery of the steps I took to fit front Escort suspension  to the Anglia:

Holes for the front suspension were drilled to enable the centre line of the TCA to stay in the original position.

An Angle finder was used to find the correct castor setting we chose to make sure we could adjust between 0° and 5°.

From speaking to many experienced circuit racer's we opted for the popular compression strut to locate the TCA's.

Sturdy brackets were made up and tacked into place.

DIY in situ adjustable TCA system was extended with CDS tube.

The Bracket gets boxed in for extra strengh.

I am wondering whether to paint or polish that chassis ;)

A set of race spec poly bushes locate the TCA's.
